TVC Scenario on the Occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr

Companies tend to boost advertising on the occasion of Eid. During the seven-day Eid vacation, 281 companies along with 583 brands telecast approximately 38,704 minutes of TV commercials to endorse their products on television. Unilever Bangladesh Limited was at the top with 18 brands advertised for 7,877 minutes and consumed more than 20% of the total commercials. Reckitt Benckiser Bangladesh Limited held the second position and was on screen for 2,962 minutes and telecast nearly 8% of total TVCs. Pran RFL Group was placed in the third position by airing 2,799 minutes of advertisements and secured over 7% of the total advertisements. Grameenphone Limited and bKash Limited telecast almost 1,397 minutes and 1,353 minutes of commercials respectively and secured positions in the top five.
