TVCs Overview of Mobile Banking Brands, March 2017
In Bangladesh, at present 5 Banks are campaigning their mobile banking service. Among them, Rocket and bKash are the two main competitors. However, since Rocket is comparatively new in the market and wants to share the subscribers of already established bKash, it has surpassed all other mobile banking campaign by an unbelievable margin. As shown in the graph, Rocket has telecasted more than 820 minutes where its close competitor bKash limits itself with only 50 minutes of TVCs. The rest of the three companies are- FSBI with more than 45 minutes, Hello with almost 3 minutes, and Islami Bank M Cash with just above 1 minute. Rocket has conducted its TVC campaign in 9 TV channels and bKash in 3 Channels. The rest three companies FSBI Sure Cash, Hello, and M Cash have conducted their mobile banking campaign in just 1 Channel. All of the TVCs are mostly telecasted during news hours and secondly in regular program hours. The two TVCs by Rocket- 'Chokh Thakte Dekho Na' and 'Rocket Gotite Taka Pathan' are the most telecasted TVCs in March 2017 under mobile banking category.
