More than 220 brands of over 90 companies promoted their products and services via radio in June. More than 36,500 minutes of commercials were aired in 16 local radio stations at the time. The top five companies in the figure above telecast more than 15,300 minutes of radio commercials combined, which is around 42% of the total radio commercials or RDC duration at the time. Pran-RFL Group surpassed all its competitors and secured the top position among companies by airing over 8,200 minutes of radio commercials while promoting 67 of its brands. The company consumed more than 22 % of the total ad-spent in radio media. Pran-RFL was followed by Walton Group, Robi Axiata Limited, Nagad, and Akij Food & Beverage Limited. Walton secured the second position with more than 2,000 minutes of RDCs while Robi, Nagad, and Akij promoted their products through radio commercials with durations of around 1900, 1700, and 1500 minutes respectively. Among 33 categories of RDCs, Telecommunication and Beverage products dominated radio stations in terms of duration followed by Ready Food, Electric & Electronics and Consumer products.
